What are the school hours?
Students must arrive by 7:30 AM (late after 7:45 AM)
Pickup must be completed by 5:00 PM
The school gate closes at 7:45 AM
What co-curricular activities are offered?
Co-curricular activities include Wildlife, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, Interact, Writers, Taekwondo, Ballet,
Camera editing and Dance clubs. Good News Club meets once every month.
What curriculum is used?
Mother’s Nest follows the Ghanaian curriculum as a base.
In preschool the school uses adapted Montessori teaching methods
The primary department curriculum is a hybrid one. We blend elements from the British curriculum to meet
local learning needs and global standards.
The JHS curriculum is strictly the Ghanaian curriculum, preparing students for the BECE
What age groups does the school serve?
Mother’s Nest School accepts pupils from 6 months to 13 years, covering Preschool, Primary, and JHS. The ages for the preschool classes by entry in September are as follows:
Babies (Creche) is below 1
Tiny Tots (Pre-nursery) – 1+ -2 years
Nightingales (Nursery 1) – 2-3 years
Bluebirds (Nursery 2) – 3-4 years
Sparrows (Kindergarten 1) 4-5 years
Robins (Kindergarten 2) 5-6 years
What are the tuition fees and payment terms?
For enquiries regarding fees, kindly contact the accounts office via 0233 782388.
Full payment is required before a child can attend classes. Invoices are sent before the term via email.
Payments are accepted via bank or mobile money —cash is not allowed at the school premises.
Post-dated cheques are not accepted
What documents are required for admission?
You’ll need:
Report card from the last school attended
Completed application form
Two passport photos
Birth certificate and immunization record
Reference letter from the previous school administrator
Does the school provide meals for pupils?
Yes. Students receive lunch and snacks. Payment can be made termly or before the beginning of each
month.
